• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our permission
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service excessively
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

3. The Service

Landera provides AI-powered resume optimization tools designed to help you tailor your resume for specific job applications. You understand and agree that:

• The Service uses artificial intelligence which may produce imperfect results
• You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content
• We do not guarantee that using the Service will result in job interviews or offers
• The Service is a tool to assist you, not a replacement for your own judgment
• You must ensure your final resume is accurate and truthful

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service, including your resume and job descriptions. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to:

• Process your content to provide the Service
• Store your content securely on our servers
• Use anonymized, aggregated data to improve our AI models

You represent that you have the right to upload any content you provide and that your content does not infringe on any third party's rights.

5. Subscriptions and Payment

• Some features require a paid subscription.
• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated.
• We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period.
• Failed payments may result in suspension of your subscription.
• New users receive 1 free resume generation; additional generations require a paid subscription.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, functionality, and branding, is owned by Landera and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our Service without our explicit permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LANDERA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Landera, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in California.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
